Cornhole (Bean Bag Toss)

What you need

• 2 cornhole boards (27 ft apart)
• 8 bean bags (4 per team)

Setup

1. Set boards 27 feet apart, hole facing hole.
2. Split into 2 teams of 1 or 2.
3. Teammates on opposite boards if playing doubles.

How to play

1. Alternate tossing bags until all 8 are thrown — that's one 'inning'.
2. Bag in the hole = 3 points. Bag on the board = 1 point.
3. Cancellation scoring: only the higher-scoring team scores that inning (net difference).
4. First team to exactly 21 wins. Bust back to 15 if you go over (house rule).

• Check the weather — have a rain plan.
• Set clear boundaries so kids/pets don't wander off.
• Rotate teams so everyone plays with everyone.
