What you need

  • Standard 52-card deck

Setup

  1. Deal 10 cards each. Flip top card as discard.

How to play

  1. Turn: draw from deck or discard, then discard.
  2. Meld runs (3+ consecutive same suit) or sets (3-4 of a rank).
  3. Knock: end round when your unmelded cards ('deadwood') ≤ 10.
  4. Gin (0 deadwood) = +25 bonus. Undercut opponent = +25. First to 100 wins.
