Texas Hold'em Poker

What you need

• Deck of cards
• Poker chips (or app for chips)
• Dealer button

Setup

1. Seat 3-10 players around a round or rectangular table.
2. Distribute equal chip stacks (e.g. $20 buy-in = 2000 chips: 20×25, 16×100, 4×500).
3. Set blinds: small blind = 5, big blind = 10. Bump every 20 minutes for tournaments.
4. Decide cash game or tournament before dealing.

How to play

1. Each player gets 2 hole cards face-down.
2. Betting round: call, raise, or fold.
3. Flop: 3 community cards. Bet again.
4. Turn: 4th card. Bet again.
5. River: 5th card. Final bet.
6. Best 5-card hand wins the pot.

• Print a hand-rankings cheat sheet for newer players.
• Use the in-app Scorekeeper to track chip totals if you're short on chips.
• Keep raises in clear stack sizes — no string bets.
• Set a hard end time so it doesn't run til 3am.
