What you need

  • Standard 52-card deck
  • 1 fewer spoon than players

Setup

  1. Sit in a circle. Place spoons in the center.
  2. Deal 4 cards to each player.

How to play

  1. Dealer draws from deck, passes an unwanted card left; each player does the same.
  2. First to 4-of-a-kind grabs a spoon — everyone else scrambles for the rest.
  3. Player without a spoon gets a letter (S-P-O-O-N).
  4. Spell SPOON = out. Last player wins.
