What you need

  • Standard 52-card deck

Setup

  1. Deal deck evenly, face down.

How to play

  1. Both players flip top card. Higher card wins both.
  2. Tie = WAR: 3 cards face-down + 1 face-up. Higher new face-up wins the whole stack.
  3. Player who collects all cards wins.
  4. House-rule a time cap — this can run forever.
