What you need

  • Glow bocce set (or regular bocce with glow tape)

Setup

  1. Charge glow balls under a bright light for 5 minutes before dusk.

How to play

  1. Standard bocce rules (see /game/bocce-ball).
  2. Teams alternate throws, closest to pallino scores.
  3. 1 point per ball closer than opponent's closest. First to 12 wins.

  • Check the weather — have a rain plan.
  • Set clear boundaries so kids/pets don't wander off.
  • Rotate teams so everyone plays with everyone.
